Travel to Williams and tour the Sacramento Valley Museum, located in the historic 100+ year old High School, full of treasures relevant to the local area, California and 19th century history plus a tribute to the Colusa County men and women of the military who have served our country since WW1. We will enjoy a hosted box lunch here before traveling to Woodland for the entertaining musical Billy Elliott-based on the inspiring story of a young man struggle to find himself. LAKE TAHOE and VIRGINIA CITY

Day one travel to Reno where we will stop for a hosted lunch enroute to historic Virginia City. Step back in time in this town born as a result of the richest. Silver strike the world has ever known, the Comstock. Free time to explore the historic downtown and an included ride on the Virginia & Truckee RR.
Over-night in Carson City. Day two travel to Incline Village where you will have a guided tour of and learn the remarkable history of the fascinating
historic Thunderbird Lodge: explore the myths, the millionaires and Tahoe. Located directly on the shores of pristine Lake Tahoe, built in 1936, it is one of the finest examples of a grand residential estate on the lake. This afternoon we will make a stop at Donner Memorial State Park as we journey home.

NIKE MISSILE BASE Tour PLUS Tiburon Ferry and ANGEL ISLAND TOUR—Hosted Box Lunch

Today we visit the most fully restored Nike missile site in the country, located in the Marin Headlands. Today the Golden Gate Nat’l Recreation Area works with a group of dedicated volunteers to preserve the site as it was from 1953 to 1979m during the tense years of the Cold War when the Army operated close to 300 sites. Includes a Ranger/Docent led tour. Our day will also include a Ferry ride from Tiburon to Angel Island. Learn the history of the Island on a narrated tram tour including the Immigration Museum. Includes a hosted Box lunch.
